My beloved daughter,
I'm glad we planned this trip to London during your spring break. Thank you for your suggestion, I haven't visited Europe since the last trip to Basel for business - I truly miss this continent.
As you may have noticed, the history and culture in Europe are very different from North America. What I admire the most is the way they preserve their own history through the museums and galleries for the next generation. Money can't buy values and experience; these are all their treasures and lessons for their children. Remember the London museum, their history is well presented through different time zones, arts, daily utensils, clothing and facts. These are all the things that make them proud to belong to their country.
Besides, we enjoy strolling around all arts galleries and chapels. The magnificent architectural design of buildings are impressive. All color stained glass paintings, sculptures, poems and books are truly admirable. Consider their high living standards and small living space, the people who live there look busy and aren't very cheerful. The Arts will help them release their tension of living in London from understanding their true values.
Hope this holiday will leave you a life long good memory. However, appreciate what you own and learn the good side from others are the tips I leave with you after this trip.
Love
Mom
