沉默是金?

自小我便很欣賞一些敢言、正直的人，他們不一定是什麽偉大人物，但他們總會為着公義、為着愛鄰舍的精神，去發聲，去參與一些不可為而為之的事情，不從個人利益出發，只為心中一團火和一個夢，去喚醒身邊的人。當中的堅持和孤單感，有誰會明白？

歴世歷代，有許多這樣的人物出現。他們有些能改變歷史，改善別人的生活，也有些不為人認同，最後可能屈屈而終，不被人記念。但這又怎樣，他們是切切實實的為自已的信念和理想活過，不管知音者是多或少，也從不會計較所帶來的影響是多或少，活得忠於自己，忠於別人。

現實世界是一個龐大運作的機器，許多錯的事情不斷地被人認同、接納。假若我們本着沉默是金作為助佑銘，對不公義的事情不聞不問，不作回應，可能今天仍然有黑奴問題存在、中國仍然倒退到燒鴉片的腐敗、基督徒也沒有可能自己看聖經，明白真理！

聖經有句名言：眾人以為美的事，要留心去作。大前題是不人云易云，不慣常反對，不為個人利益出發，為公義發聲，建構一個更美好的將來，是你與我都可以做得到。

Happy Birthday! My Love!

My dearest daughter,

Tomorrow is your birthday, I would like to thank God for having you in my life. It's been a wonderful journey in raising you up and seeing you growth spiritually and physically. My life will be so different without you, all the laughter, joy and hugs keep reminds me the grace of our Lord. I still remembered the day you were born, people in the hospital were amazed how quick you came out naturally even without the existence of our doctor, just like you were so desperate to explore the world.  Yes, there are so much in front of you and waiting for you, just remember to keep your faith to walk through all the good and down times. 

There is a meaning behind your Chinese name, 瀚亭, to fellowship with others and to be the shelter for the poor. The poor without hope, no friends and tired in their lives. Your joyful character and creativeness will definitely fill the gap of their needs and allow people to see the beauty on earth. This is the biggest joy of all, to be able to give and serve others with all your heart and soul, and to see how people live with courage and happiness. 

Mom and dad love you so much! We will be around you wherever you go, just never stop to share your dream with us!

迷失

兩星期前的一個晚上，在去上課的途中，由於大霧的緣故，我意外地把車駛離了大路，闖上了行人道及單車徑。由於路面又黑又窄，行了一會始發現有路人行過及其他車輛響號，我心自知不妙，不知前面可有出路，至終唯有默禱及硬着頭皮繼續行了近二百米，幸好看見左面有一個小山坡，便立刻捌彎上膊返回大路。

記得人生中也有不少另人迷失的片段：好朋友的離去、父親病逝、最好的高薪厚職掉了、懷女兒時作小產、不知應否繼續學業等，心情沉重得好像迷失了方向，昨天的快樂似在一下子消失了，天空也不再一樣。但我們在傷痛之餘，總要提醒自己，前面必然是有出路，迷失的經歷只會教我更珍惜身邊所遇到的人和事，生命中總有許多美好的事物在等待我們，只要望得更遠更高，總可以走出蔭霾，創造生命另一個高峯和奇蹟！

愛的樂章

在白色的小教堂內，音樂徐徐響起，賓客站了起來，各人臉上滿有期盼的望着入口處。新娘輕挽着新郎，隨着音樂節拍慢步的進入禮堂。雖然蓋着面紗，但新娘含羞而幸福的笑融仍然感染了每一個賓客，在場拍照的閃光燈此起彼落，各人都希望捕捉到這最美妙的時刻。隨後牧師訓勉、交換戒子、祝福、禮成，一段童話式的婚姻便由此展開了，故事的主角當然是男女雙方。

要譜出一首充滿愛的樂章，是倆人一生的承諾。許多時我們心是願意，但肉體卻輭弱了。生活的騰拆，子女的教養擔子，對金錢的運用，個人理想的追尋，處處把我們與身邊人的關係拉得愈來愈遠，愈來愈陌生，夠竟怎樣才能重尋伊甸園的和諧？

聖經中哥林多前書十三章告訴了我們追尋愛的途徑：

Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.
Love doesn't strut,
Doesn't have a swelled head,
Doesn't force itself on others,
Isn't always "me first",
Doesn't fly off the handle,
